My last video project on Tellason denim took me to Amsterdam. While there I was able to meet up with Tenue de Nîmes co-owner Menno van Meurs. Menno was kind enough to open his doors early & greet me with a fresh cup of espresso. I felt that I couldn’t get enough footage, and spent nearly the entire day being inspired to take more and more shots.
Aside from being an aesthetically phenomenal space, my talk with Menno represented what inspired my Tribute project in the first place. He graciously shared his passion and knowledge regarding retail and denim. Tenue de Nîmes is a practice of specialism, and passion for denim, period.
